We match clients with experienced housing coordinators through a person-centered approach tailored to their unique needs.
One-third of our clients have achieved stable housing and are now focusing on other aspects of independence.
A significant portion of our referrals come from clients who trust and recommend our services.
We continuously adapt to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
Founded in July 2023 by Cally Beth Proctor, Spirit & Sand is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to housing-focused social services. Based in Minneapolis, MN, we proudly serve communities throughout the broader Minnesota area.
Cally is the founder and executive director of Spirit & Sand, where she leads with vision, purpose, and an unwavering belief in every person’s ability to grow, regardless of the hand they’ve been dealt. She understands what it takes to change your life and the world for the better. It takes courage and determination, as well as strength of character and resolve; in other words, it takes spirit and sand.
With over fifteen years of experience in social services, Cally has worked closely with people experiencing homelessness and individuals with disabilities. Her deep knowledge of housing programs and the systemic gaps that exist equips her to design practical, lasting solutions.
Since launching the organization in 2023, Cally has remained driven by the belief that meaningful support requires more than just services—it requires accountability, access, and above all, unconditional love.
